Our Story

Welcome to the African Integrated Diaspora Connection Of Manitoba (AIDCOM), a non-profit organization committed to serving the diverse needs of African immigrants and Black people in Manitoba and Canada. Cultural Integration

We facilitate a seamless integration process into Canadian society while preserving the rich cultural heritage of African immigrants and Black people. Through cultural orientation workshops, language classes, and community events, we ensure a vibrant celebration of African traditions.

Community Support Services

AIDCOM provides essential support services to address immediate needs, including information and referral services, housing and settlement assistance, and food and clothing distribution programs.

Education and Employment

Our commitment to enhancing educational and employment opportunities is reflected in educational workshops, mentorship programs, job readiness training, and skills development initiatives.

Health and Well-being

AIDCOM promotes the health and well-being of African immigrants and Black people through health education workshops, access to healthcare resources, and mental health support programs.

We empower African and Black youth through education and skill-building programs, including youth leadership initiatives, educational scholarships, and recreational activities.

Media Spotlight

At AIDCOM, we harness the power of media (TV, Radio, Social Media) to tell the African immigrant and Black people story by the immigrants and Black people themselves. We celebrate the African and Black culture, profile artists, performers, and highlight contributions often overlooked in mainstream media.
